Frankfurt School’s Office of Information Technology provides IT services to a diverse community of more than 5000 students, faculty and staff. Our ever-growing team conceptualises and implements innovative solutions in infrastructure engineering, digital transformation and technical support. We are looking for you to join Frankfurt School Office of Information Technology as

• You contribute to implementing the requirements of our departments and customers with modern technologies across all phases of the SDLC
• You like to create technical concepts, implement them yourself and in cooperation with other developers, attach importance to quality and good technical documentation
• Close collaboration with product owners, architects and project managers is a matter of course for you
• In your work, you emphasise security from the beginning to the end of the technical implementation
• You take care of maintenance of our existing web-based Campus Learning Management solutions

• Completed studies in computer science or comparable degrees and / or trainings
• Verifiable practical work experience in the implementation of web applications
• Good Java and Javascript knowledge, ideally practical experience with Spring Boot and React
• Knowledge of common frameworks and concepts such as React, Angular, Spring Boot, JPA, REST, Microservices and their advantages and disadvantages
• Knowledge about OWASP Top 10 and how to prevent security issues, Threat Modelling, SAST, SCA and other security topics is a big advantage, but not a precondition. Curiosity and the will to delve into the subject matter are a prerequisite.
• Good English skills (written and spoken), German skills are a plus
• Knowledge of relational databases, ideally Oracle, is a plus
• Good understanding of cloud services, experience with AWS is a plus
