Your Tasks

  • Support the International Advisory Services (IAS) Team in acquisition of new private and public financial sector development projects, incl. compiling expressions of interests, providing input to developing technical and financial offers, and business development in general.
  • Contribute to project implementation of the IAS Team, incl. the processing of incoming and outgoing correspondence and project documents, coordination with other partners and stakeholders, providing input to project deliverables, including applied context research (e.g., market assessments, stakeholder consultations, technical input related to development finance solutions, such as development and application of tools and policies, etc.).
  • Support the controlling of projects, including invoicing, budget control functions, specific reporting, and managing project documentation.
  • Organisation and contribution to the implementation of events, workshops, and training seminars (e.g., support the compilation of presentations and logistics).
  • Identification and recruitment of consultants.

Your Profile

  • At least two years' professional experience in implementation of international projects.
  • Interested in working on finance sector advisory projects and development consultancy in emerging and developing countries.
  • Strong communication skills within and outside the team with intercultural sensitivity.
  • University degree, preferably at Masters’ level, in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Banking, or related field or equivalent professional experience;
  • Fluent in English (working language) and at least one other language (French would be considered an asset) both oral and in writing.
  • Proficiency in applying MS Office.
  • Open to business travel when needed.
  • Strong capacity for teamwork, but also ability to work independently, including motivation and commitment, flexibility, creativity, and ability to work under time pressure.
